At Puntacana, we spend a lot of time thinking about the perfect day in the Dominican Republic. Is it the food that we eat? Is it the activities we enjoy? Is it the people we spend time with? One of our locals has already told us what her perfect day in Puntacana would be like, but there is so much to do on the island that I think everyone would give an answer if they were asked. While I don’t think we’re ever going to reach a consensus on what exactly makes up a perfect day, we have a few ideas that we wanted to share with you in a short video that we just uploaded to YouTube. As you can see, we sort of cheated and answered “yes” to all of the questions I posed above. It’s all important, and we think our guests would agree that fabulous food, fun in the sun, and great friends all contribute to the perfect day. We start things off with a morning yoga class. As you can see from the Six Sense pa site there are many different ways for guests of all ability levels to enjoy yoga, and you can do it in our picturesque resort. After yoga, it’s time for breakfast. Breakfast is served at Bamboo from 6:30-11am, and it features a wonderful cold dish buffet with a number of organically grown fresh juices. If you’re looking for something a bit heartier, we have hot dishes made to order. Try not to fill up too much, though, because golf and tennis are the perfect mid day activities. After working out hard in the sun, what could be better than a massage? There are several luxurious massages available from the Six Senses spa, like the Thai and Waves massages. Not only are you treating yourself to a relaxing time, but you’re also treating your muscles right. After treating your body, it’s time to treat your friends. There is no better way to spend an evening out than dinner and drinks at La Yola. Happy hour is from 5-7, and you can stay right where you are once it ends to enjoy a truly fabulous dinner. Don’t start getting tired just yet, though. You still haven’t hit the Don Queco Cigar Bar. If you haven’t smoked a hand-rolled Dominican cigar with a glass of Dominican rum, then this is the perfect opportunity. We’re not telling you what to do on a perfect day at Puntacana, though. After all, this is just what we think a perfect day could look like. What would your perfect day be like? Let us know in the comments.

Si el día perfecto es el que me planteo pasar con la familia y amigos, pues me parece que en este lugar del país y del mundo es posible, todo debido a que la bondad de Dios se puede sentir aquí en Punta Cana.
