One of the things that we spend a lot of time discussing on this blog is food. Perhaps it’s because of the many great restaurants available on our resort (or perhaps it is because I am a total foodie and find any excuse I can to talk about food), but it’s a subject near and dear to our hearts at PUNTACANA.

We are sure most of you are aware of Oscar's involvement with PUNTACANA, apart from being a Grupo PUNTACANA partner, a home owner and a humanitarian he was a world-class artist, which is why despite this solemn time we must honor such greatness.
 As you have probably noticed from the last few weeks, we take anniversaries very seriously around here, and the 45th is a big one for us. While we looked at the "Grupo PUNTACANA With The Community" Project last week, something that we are very proud of, I would like to talk a little about...
Mangroves, are known as the "protector of shore-line", they grow between the coastline and the ocean, while absorbing all of the Oceans healing powers in order to provide micro-ecosystems for aquatic life.
 A couple of months ago Grupo PUNTACANA issued a press release about our "Grupo PUNTACANA With The Community" Project, which is something we also alluded to in last week’s blog post and wanted to take the time to discuss in a little more detail today.
