 I have vivid memories of myself as a child dreaming about life under the sea. I don’t know if it was from reading 10,000 Leagues Under the Sea one too many times or whether it was just natural curiosity,
 Imagine this: you are walking on our property near the Corales resort, and you notice a sign that there are hawks nearby. You look up and get a glimpse of one of the world’s most endangered species: the Ridgway’s hawk.
The plate above is a not only a signature dish found in Playa Blanca Restaurant but a favorite amongst many Dominicans. This rice and pigeon pea mixture is referred to as Moro de guandules (or gandules as Puerto Ricans would call it) is a staple on the dinner table and a Dominican classic.
 It’s the last day of vacation, and you’re probably having that same feeling that we all have: I love it here, and I don’t want to leave. I have some good news for you -- the vacation at Puntacana doesn’t have to end.
 In addition to restoring the staghorn coral population, the PUNTACANA Ecological Foundation has another project that is near and dear to our hearts: sea turtle preservation.
