"Grupo Puntacana Foundation presents "Zero Waste" at the Business Innovation Seminar in Curacao"

This innovation seminar was attended by Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) from the Netherlands and the Caribbean region, to exchange expertise and knowledge since they have had the experience of working in active in the field of smart, creative, and green technologies. This conference consisted in 1-on-1 Speed Dates with these innovators and representatives of other innovation related institutions. These speed dates gave guests the chance to ask questions about topics that are relevant to your business.

Innovate Your Business Now! is a free seminar for SME’s in Curaçao. It is an initiative in collaboration of the Ministry of Economic Development, Curaçao Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Curaçao Innovation and Technology Institute, Curaçao Investment & Export Dev. Foundation, University of Curaçao, Start Up Curaçao, Central Bank of Curaçao and St. Maarten, and Permanent Representation of The Netherlands.

These sessions had the participation of: Grupo Puntacana, Appsterdam, Whim Architecture, Brainwaves, TNO Caribbean, University of Curaçao, Curacao, Investment & Export Dev. Foundation, Curaçao Innovation & Technology Institute, Curaçao Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Start Up Curaçao, Ministry of Economic Development, Permanent Representation of The Netherlands.

As for Grupo Puntacana, our "Fundación Grupo Puntacana" represented by the Vice-president Jake Kheel was invited to talk about "Green & Sustainable Tourism" and emphasized the importance of creating an ecosystem that lives by the principles of possibilities rather than impossibilities; turning ideas into realities, taking initiative and promoting inclusiveness. An environment, in which new businesses are created, economic growth, can be achieved, unemployment is reduced, innovative products and services are introduced, marketed, sold locally and to the rest of the world.
