On October 1st, 2017, a series of races will take place to appeal to triathletes and their families, including HalfREV, OlympicREV, SprintREV, 5k and 10k runs. Fronting three miles of white-sand beaches along the Caribbean, The Westin Puntacana Resort & Club will be the host hotel of this event offering endless recreational activities and indulgent facilities. The races will start and finish from La Cana Golf & Beach Club located at Puntacana Resort & Club. The crystal clear blue water makes for a pleasant swim in approximately 80 degree calm water. It’s also unique that the swim course doesn’t get deeper than 5 feet making if very safe. The bike course takes place over flat well-paved roads which should make for a fast course. The majority of the bike course will be closed off to traffic. Once onto the flat run course, athletes will have beautiful views throughout making this one amazing triathlon destination.
