Today’s video is a more unfocused and less structured look at the wonderful things you can do at Puntacana. This is a video for those of us who like to make our own fun and enjoy spending our vacation fully immersing ourselves in a certain locale. While we’ve given you a lot of wonderful activities to do over the last two weeks, today we’re going to talk about taking leisurely strolls and eating tasty, fresh food. First things first we have the Indigenous Eyes Ecological Reserve, which we have highlighted many times before on the blog. While we discussed the lagoon a couple of weeks ago (and with good reason, it’s fabulous), there is so much more to see at Indigenous Eyes than just the lagoon. In fact, if you take a look at our park map, you can see just how vast this area is. It’s perfect for a long walk with some beautiful views. While you are at the reserve, you can see our petting zoo and say “hola” to the goats. As you can see, they are cute, friendly, and love visitors with food. You can also see baby chicks and baby goats, both of which are guaranteed to melt the hearts of everyone in your group. And, as you can see, there is also a sugarcane exhibition and a fruit tree garden. While you are here, you can also see our sustainably produced fruits, vegetables, and honey. We discussed this in greater depth back in October, but this is the real deal. Through a combination of composting and a whole lot of ingenuity, we are able to grow fruits and vegetables in soil that normally doesn’t support fruits and vegetables. Furthermore, residents have the ability to have these fruits and vegetables delivered to them directly. These are just a few of the wonderful things you will find if you walk around the resort. Soak in the beautiful nature at the Indigenous Eyes Reserve and spend a leisurely day enjoying some of the best that nature has to offer.
